FinTech Lunch #8

The objective of the FinTech lunch series is to bring together Swiss Finance + Technology Association members and interested people for networking but also to provide a forum for discussion of a dedicated topic. The topic this time is „The Power of Design“ for which we have secured two exciting speakers: Angela Dannhorn and Alan Cabello.

1) Angela Dannhorn for Ginetta Web/Mobile

Angela is a Designer at Ginetta Web/Mobile, a leading web company based in Zürich, focusing on careful design and outstanding user experiences. Ginetta’s claim is to build applications which are simple, beautiful and fun to use. With clients ranging from large caps to startups, Angela will tell and show us how Design matters in Financial Services.

Alan is an expert and consultant for human-centered strategic innovation. He divides his time between Allianz as an Innovation Program Manager, teaching assignments at ETH and EPFL, and SparkLabs, which he founded with the purpose of advancing human-centered product, service, and business model innovation. In his contribution Alan will share insights of his analysis of Swiss Retail Banks and explain how financial institutions can benefit from the Design Thinking Approach.
