She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnical School of Montreal and a PhD in neurosciences from the University of Zurich. Marie-Christine was a postdoctoral researcher at the Rehabilitation Engineering Lab, ETH Zurich, where she worked on the development of rehabilitation technologies. She has 4 years startup experience.

Since mid-2016 he has been in charge of launching AXA’s new and innovative healthcare offer in Switzerland which went live in July 2017.

Stephan is one of the co-founders of Etherisc, a blockchain startup building decentralized insurance applications. Before Etherisc, he co-founded disrupt consulting, a cooperative for digital strategy consulting, educated major banks and telecom enterprises on blockchain technology, and was also part of the of the UBS Crypto 2.0 Innovation Lab. Stephan has more than 20 years experience with IT businesses, and has been working on digital currencies since 2008. He holds a PhD in Information Management from ETH Zürich.

His main focus is creating new innovative and disruptive solutions, using the newest technologies as business enabler such as Blockchain, Bots, A.I., Virtual and Augmented reality. He holds a Master degree in Computer Science, ETH Zürich. Since more than 20 years he is working in the insurance industry for various companies as an IT professional and co-founded a Swiss insurance startup. He won several Global Innovation Awards at AXA, at EFMA insurance in 2017 and OttoCar Award at IAA in Frankfurt with VR 360 Video in 2017.

Martin is responsible for the Insurance Industry for Salesforce in Switzerland. Before joining Salesforce he held different management positions at companies like EDS, SAP and Qlik. He will be developing the insurance market with a focus on digital transformations. He’s been in the software industry for over 30 years, 10 of those within the Financial Services industry. He always sees the customer and the customer’s customer in the middle of everything. He uses his technical background to bring more efficiency and process-oriented thinking to his visionary meetings with Swiss Insurance companies. Martin has a Eidg. Dipl. in Marketing and Sales Management and lives in the Zurich area with his family.

Renaud is the co-founder and CEO of SPIXII, a tech company dedicated to making insurance accessible and simple.After studying engineering at Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Renaud moved to England and finished his education with an MSc in Operational Research & Management Sciences at Lancaster University. He proceeded to serve EY London for six years, consulting insurance companies and building risk models while training for the British actuarial profession. Passionate about transforming the insurance industry, the move to start SPIXII was a natural fit.

Peter has been involved in high-tech and bio-tech investments over the last 25 years and this had led to four IPO’s and multiple trade sells. Peter Ohnemus and his private investment firm Network Capital Holding are currently investing in high-tech and bio-tech start-ups.

Vikram Bhatnagar is an entrepreneur and has many years of experience in business development and leading of technology-based SMEs. Specializing in embedded platform solutions, Hivemind.ch offers in particular end-to-end IoT enterprise integration. It combines sensor devices and Salesforce to enhance intelligence in both consumer and enterprise applications in order to provide preventive maintenance using novel technologies such as LoRaWAN, BT5 and NB-IoT.

In early 2015 he founded KASKO together with his co-founder Matt Wardle. His role as CEO includes defining the company vision and strategy, business development, fundraising, attracting talent and most importantly ensuring the unique KASKO culture.

Tom is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and member of the general management of AdNovum. He has extensive experience in the ICT sector, both gained in the US and in Europe. He has been responsible for the security architecture and implementation of the largest Swiss online banking portal for many years and has masterminded industry-leading mobile payment solutions.

He is responsible for various clients and projects in insurance and also leads thew global offering development for connected insurance and IOT insurance. Mr. Rapberger joined Accenture in 2001 and has led several projects and initiatives in Accenture’s insurance industry practice. Before that he obtained degrees for business administration and law at the university of Vienna. Mr. Rapberger’s special area of expertise is IOT, connected insurance, new business models around platforms and ecosystems as well as digital initiatives around CRM, physical and digital channels and analytics.
