The event is hosted by EPAM in collaboration with Swiss Finance + Technology Association and Validity Labs. The three largest insurance companies from Switzerland created the challenges and are looking forward to hearing your creative ideas.

ROBLEM SOLVERS

The teams will work on challenges created by SwissLife, Zurich and SwissRe, who will also provide panel judges to determine the winner. Industry experts will be assisting teams during the Hackathon to provide useful insight and answer questions about specific industry characteristics.

REQUIREMENTS

• Participants in the Hackathon should have one of the following skills: software development, graphic or interface design, or back end-engineering with an understanding of blockchain technology.
• Participants should be prepared to build an innovative blockchain concept or MVP from scratch in 24 hours.
• We are looking for teams of 2 – 4 people. If you do not have a team yet, please register individually and you’ll find teammates just before the official kickoff. If you already have a team, please make sure to indicate the same team name on the registration form.
