About the dAppathon

This August, BCG Digital Ventures and DVolution are bringing together some of the world’s most enterprising engineers to build the next wave of decentralized apps.

Why should I apply?

Spend the weekend with some of the world’s best and brightest minds in blockchain. No direct experience with blockchain is necessary, just an interest and hunger to learn.

Three prizes will be awarded to the top teams:

1. The judges’ favorite dApp
2. The participants’ favorite dApp
3. The community’s favorite dApp

The community vote will take place on reddit.com/r/ethereum. Prizes total over $10,000 in cryptocurrency. As always, there will be opportunities to get more involved with BCGDV and/or DVolution at the end of the weekend.

Travel and accommodations will be provided for participants outside the Los Angeles area. All meals throughout the duration of the hackathon will be provided.

The dAppathon will take place at BCG Digital Ventures’ newly renovated global headquarters in Manhattan Beach, CA. Both the location of the dAppathon and hotel for out-of-town participants are conveniently located approximately 10 minutes south of LAX airport.
