It is a great pleasure to announce our first Blockchain Meetup we will attempt to „live stream“ across 3 Cities (Basel, Zurich, Geneva).

Our main guest for the evening is the Team of Colony.io who will introduce their platform and how they aim to disrupt how future organisation will be setup.

Speakers

Jack du Rose is a creative polymath and founder of two Ethereum based startups: Ownage.io which aids in the distribution, collection and trading of digital game content and Colony.io, a platform that makes it easy for people all over the world to build companies together online. A champion of new and better ways of working, Jack is pioneering a means of organising ourselves that is more fitting to the world we live in today. His vision for harnessing a distributed network of talent is riding the wave of the tidal shift in how we work.

Dr. Aron Fischer received his PhD in mathematics from the City University of New York in 2015. His specializations was in Algebraic Topology and Homotopy theory. Since his graduation he has been studying homotopy type theory in his free time and is interested in how (higher) type theory can help us write safer smart contracts. He is working for Colony in R&D, developing the governance protocols, and for the Ethereum Foundation’s Swarm team where he is working on state and payment channels for the swarm incentive structure.
